I am Dr. Sebit Mustafa Sebit Obied, Senior Public health Associate at UNHCR and Islamic University of South Sudan. My role as a public health programming and health information system focal person is crucial in the organizations I involve and my community. So, I needed improved skills in public health concepts so that I can serve better. As I am into the public health sector, I wanted to upgrade my qualification with an advanced degree. Therefore, I had decided to pursue a doctorate in public health as I have already completed my master’s degree.
A friend of mine suggested Taksha Smartlabz in association with the University of Central Nicaragua’s (TSL-UCN’s) PhD in Public Health that I could study online. As it is an online degree, I enrolled in it without any second thought. Now, I feel my decision is 100% correct and timely. Pursuing a doctorate degree is not easy; however, TSL-UCN has made it possible for me in between my busy schedule. Special thanks to the support team, my mentor, and coordinators who helped me complete my research work on time.
My experience with TSL-UCN is highly remarkable and unique. I never thought I could get a PhD in public health with this short period of three years. This is an organized, online degree that helped me complete my research work on time and publish it with no delay.
This doctorate in public health means a lot to my career. I am thankful to TSL-UCN and its staff. I would love to continue supporting and linking with TSL-UCN academically.
