I am Ms. Taskia Daniel from Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. I had completed my bachelor of public health degree at Texila American University’s (TAU’s) School of Public Health. I enrolled in this online public health degree in July 2018 and passed out in July 2020. I take pleasure in sharing my experience during my time at the university that I will divide into two parts stating the pros and the cons.
TAU was introduced to me by a colleague. Then, I did some extensive research and found it worth to pursue an online bachelor of public health degree here. My two colleagues and I joined this course at TAU.
During my course, Ms. Daniela Abraham helped and guided us through the necessary procedures. My first mentor was Mrs. Vinothini C, who was very consistent and helpful as well. I like to appreciate the fact that TAU and its staff are very supportive and understanding. They make learning easy, and it gives us the ability to study without compromising our professional commitments. It’s very convenient. Each block and slide are easy to understand and helps us write the exams with ease. Projects are not hard; however, the Capstone projects tend to be challenging at times.
My issue with the program is that communication tends to be very poor at times. Moreover, there was some delay in getting the course completion certificate. Otherwise, TAU is the best school to pursue an online public health degree.
I had a great time at TAU. I will not hesitate to recommend this school to any of my colleagues. Thank you, TAU and team!
